Asiya Wadud is the author of No Knowledge Is Complete Until It Passes Through My Body (Nightboat Books, 2021), SYNCOPE (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2019), and Crosslight for Youngbird (Nightboat Books, 2018). She is the c0-author, with Okwui Okpokwasili, of day pulls down the sky/ a filament in gold leaf (Danspace Project and Belladonna, 2019), Her work has been supported by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Danspace Project, the New York Public Library, and the Foundation Jan Michalski, among others. She teaches poetry at Saint Ann’s School and Columbia University.
